Birmingham Advice & Support Service
Birmingham Advice & Support Service
This service supports adults who live in Birmingham and are D/deaf or hard of hearing. This includes those who have recently been diagnosed with hearing loss and profoundly Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users offering deaf friendly advice and support.
We also help family members, friends and carers of D/deaf people or those who are hard of hearing living in Birmingham.
We offer face to face appointments at the Deaf Cultural Centre, at home, at a venue that is suitable for you or online and through our community drop-ins at venues all over Birmingham. Please see below for details.
Working in partnership with Focus Birmingham, we also provide support to those who are sight/severely sight impaired. Please visit the Focus Birmingham website to find out more or get in touch with us and we will make a referral for you.
