Our Deafblind group is also open to people with visual impairment too.

This group meets on a fortnightly basis on Fridays and is supported by the Deafblind Support Worker.

Activities are decided by the group members which includes a monthly visit to a local cafe/pub for a lunch.

This is a very social group where members get together to have a chat over tea, biscuits and a fish and chip takeaway. They also take turns to audio describe the local newspaper and invite guest speakers to speak to the group on a range of topics.

Although there is no cost to join the group, members are expected to pay for their own lunch.
