Our Employment Services take home a trophy!

Recently our Birmingham Employment team was invited to the UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Fund) 2025 Provider Awards hosted by PURE (Placing vulnerable Urban Residents into Employment) Project.

The day started off with some mingling with other stakeholders such as Maximus and Dolphine Centre and it was a great opportunity for us to learn about what other organisations do over some fresh tea, coffee and biscuits.

Once we were all seated at our tables, Tabriz Hussain gave a brief presentation on BID Services, explaining what we do as a charity, as an employment service and what we have managed to achieve over the years.

2 men are stood facing each other in front of a large TV screen with a title page of Outstanding Support Award. One man is holding a microphone and the other is smiling at him.

After the overview, it was announced that we’d won the Inclusive Award 2025! This was awarded to us due to our unique services that supports clients with visual impairments, disabilities or who are hard of hearing and D/deaf.

Our Employment Service offers a holistic approach – not only do we focus on interview preparation, CV writing, filling out online job applications etc, but we also support people beyond getting the job by helping with ATW (Access to Work) queries and providing Deaf Awareness Training for employers too.

BID's trophy award. Consists of two round mirrored glass pieces stuck together. Near the top is a round silver plaque which reads 2025. The plaque is bordered by symmetrical silver leaves. Below that is a small rectangular silver plaque which reads inclusiveness award. PURE Awards 2025. The trophy is atop a rectangular piece of glass.

Some of those people who have accessed our services were also awarded certificates for recognising their achievements and efforts. A huge congratulations to each of them!

4 people stood side by side smiling towards the camera. A man, a woman and another woman are holding up their individual certificates. To the right of them is a man who is leaning in.
